Although inspired from Ritwick Ghatak’s life, “Cloud Capped Star” is neither a biopic on Ritwick nor a remake of Ritwick’s famous film. To director Kamaleswar, Ritwick is a true star, a legend, with immense contributions to the world of cinema. And yet he is still quite the unsung hero. Hence, he is the “meghe dhaka tara”.
